Given her regular online purchases for herself and her son Ruhaan, Dipika promptly settled the payment without suspicion. However, upon unboxing the package, she was taken aback to discover items she hadn't requested. The perplexing aspect was that the parcel bore her name, address, and contact information.

The actress went on to disclose how the scammers persistently sent additional packages and made phone calls, repeatedly pressuring her to disclose the OTP. Their objective was to deceive her into divulging the code, enabling them to take some of the money from her account.

Recognizing the fraudulent nature of the scheme, Dipika Kakkar issued a stern warning to the public, advising them against accepting unsolicited packages or sharing their OTP. The scammers' ultimate goal was to pilfer funds by coercing individuals into surrendering their OTP.
